KEP TECH TIP: Heated or Chilled Water Energy Monitoring System |
A typical chilled/heated water metering system uses a magnetic flowmeter, two temperature transmitters and a SuperTrol-2 Flow Computer. The flow computer calculates the energy flow (BTUs or ton-hours) from the flow and temperature signals, and the optional data logger and modem permit remote monitoring of all measured values.
